Just wanted to let you all know that we haven't disappeared but finding it hard to find time to add details to our blog. We are all staying with different host families and therefore dont necessarily have access to internet or more to the point not enough hours in the day to do entry.
Today the team all had a vocational day and I think everyone was very happy with their placements. On the food subject, which is never ending, we had Okonomiyaki for lunch. It is a traditional food for Hiroshima and bit like a pizza. This afternoon we visited the Radiation Research Foundation.
I have some photos to add to the blog but being technologically challenged I cant work out how to do it!! Sleep time - before it is time to rise and shine again.

Jill and team: Just a note to say that Tanaka san sent an email yesterday (in English) to Miho san and to Peter Murfett, in which he was very complimentary of you as a group. Clearly, he is very much relieved to know how well prepared you are. Here are some of his words:
"We heard that they have prepared three types of presentation(for 5 minutes, for 10 minutes, and for 15 minutes). They spoke Japanese language at the presentation, and we could understand their Japanese.
They must have practiced hard.
Also they realize the meaning of GSE perfectly (and) I felt their eagerness and anticipation for vocational training, sightseeing and learning Japanese culture strongly."
Pat each other on the back!

Hi Team,
I'm glad to hear that all is going to plan. I'm feeling very envious of you all.
Don't worry too much about the blog- it is a nice way to keep us all informed about what you are experiencing but don't let it get in the way of the experience itself. It is your trip, make the most of it in every way possible.
Beres
Hi gang,
Looks like you are all having a good time and I hope you are not getting too tired given your busy itinerary. Keep up the good work and look after your poor old leader (just kidding).
Cheers,
Ross Gates
Greetings from Japan (sunny Nagoya). Today, Kuniko and I will go to Okayama (our nearest location to you) by shinkansen, then to Shikoku for the two days this year that we will devote to our Buddhist pilgrimage.

Remember gang, as of tonight we are on daylight savings... so we're now two hours ahead of you!
