Friday - Oral, Anal then Naval
On Friday, all bases were covered starting with a trip to Hiroshima Memorial Private Hosptial. There, the team all got to experience Steven's vocational visit, watching a gastroscopy, and then a colonoscopy in the same room as the patient (with their permission of course).
Then we were off to the Yamato Battleship Museum to see the world's greatest battleship and then to the Etajima Naval Base, where we had a very formal but social reception with the Head of Officer Training and the First Officer.
Fiona and I then off to dinner with host and others for Yakitori - including such delicacies as chicken neck, cartiledge and stomach - mmmmm.

Love the title of this one Renee...
Sounds like it is tough to find the time to post. Probably not surprising! Sounds like you are being well fed, hope they are taking good care of you in other ways too.
Say hi to Jill for me. Hope it continues to be a good time for you all.

PS - Tell Bec that the US crisis is affecting the mood in banks here too! It is huge news. Might be a bit unpalatable, but I think I cope with it better than I'd cope with a colonoscopy!
PPS – Had lunch at peppermint bay today. Think we saw the apple crates from your wedding pics!
Dear oh dear...
I cannot believe my wife wrote that title!?
On seconds thoughts...
Yes, I can!
